Allison Schaub
Alli graduated from University of Delaware in 2020 with a degree in Animal & Food Science. She has an interest in exotic/livestock animals and has worked at wildlife rescues, zoos, and farms. She recently moved to Philadelphia from the Lehigh Valley with her 5 reptiles; Fay the leopard gecko, Fritz the crested gecko, Pretzel the corn snake, Vinny the northern blue tongue skink, and Otis the boa constrictor.
Cassie Paterson
Cassie is a veterinary assistant who is currently studying biology, linguistics, and communications as an undergraduate student. In the near future, she hopes to go to veterinary school and wants to specialize in exotic pets. She has experience with dogs, cats, birds, and other zoo animals, and she especially loves working with reptiles. Cassie and her family have a collection of pets, including a Great Dane, two black labs, two geckos, and a ball python.
Shannon Fleming
Shannon is a certified veterinary technician licensed in Pennsylvania and New York. She graduated from the veterinary technology program at SUNY Delhi in 2014. She also participated in a study abroad trip to South Africa to gain wildlife experience and assist with wildlife conservation. Shannon has been working in small animal practices for 6+ years and recently moved to Pennsylvania from New York with her 2 dogs (Sonny & Reign), cat (Breeze) and Russian tortoise (Tortellini).
Tori Hernandez
Tori is a veterinary assistant who has been in the veterinary field for 5 years. Her goal is to become a certified Veterinary Nurse after attending Harcum College. She is the Director of Laboratory Services at 2nd Street Animal Hospital. Tori has spent countless hours volunteering at a number of different shelters in Philadelphia. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, spending time with family and cuddling her cat Kiki whom she rescued as a kitten.
Alexis Ober
Alexis graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 2021 and has been working in the veterinary field ever since. She loves all animals, and has a special interest in small mammals and reptiles. She moved to Philadelphia from Lancaster and has since grown her family to include two cats (Titan and Butter), a pink toed tarantula (Charlotte), a couple of hermits crabs, a mouse (Petunia) and soon to include a snake! Alexis hopes to go back to school in the future, she just isn’t quite sure what discipline she wants to specialize in.
