Avian Preventative care & Wellness

Birds have unique health needs that require specialized care. They tend to hide their signs of illness, making routine check-ups essential for their well-being.

Regular wellness exams allow us to detect any potential health issues early, ensuring your bird stays healthy and vibrant. Additional testing will be recommended based on your bird’s age and any concerns that might be identified during the physical examination. These can include a complete blood count, a biochemistry panel, fecal analysis, radiographs or more. Always bring a fecal sample to the exam, if possible, in case it is needed!

If you have a new bird in the family, it’s important to book a post-purchase exam to establish care, prevent disease transmission, and receive guidance on diet and housing.
